What are priors in image processing?
Deep image prior is a type of convolutional neural network used to enhance a given image with no prior training data other than the image itself. A neural network is randomly initialized and used as prior to solve inverse problems such as noise reduction, super-resolution, and inpainting.
What is a prior deep learning?
The prior is, generally speaking, a probability distribution that expresses one's beliefs about a quantity before some evidence is taken into account. If we restrict ourselves to an ML model, the prior can be thought as of the distribution that is imputed before the model starts to see any data.
What is natural image?
Natural images are distinctive, because they contain particular types of structure. They are far from random: images constructed randomly on a computer practically never contain a naturalistic scene-or even a tree. Natural images are thus very rare among the huge space of all possible images.
