What happens if you are selected for DV lottery?
If you were selected in the DV Lottery, you must apply for the Green Card using the DS-260 form, where you will have to provide extensive personal information about yourself and your family members, e.g., your spouse and/or children under 21 years of age.
How do I know if my visa is approved?
At the end of your immigrant visa interview, the consular officer will inform you whether your visa application is approved or denied. Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant's interview by a consular officer.
Can I exit from any Schengen country?
No. A long stay visa or a residence permit issued by a Schengen State allows you to travel or stay in other Schengen States, while respecting the maximum duration of a “short stay” (a stay of "90 days in any 180 day period").
How does EU keep track of 90 days?
The entry date is the first day on which you spend any time in the area, the exit day is the last day you are in the area. One effect of this is that if you are ever away for a full period of 90 days (three months) then you will have accrued the right to another stay of up to 90 days.
