How do I make all my songs the same volume?
Normalize Your Music Tracks
If you've got an album to correct, select the Down Arrow next to the Track Gain icon and select Album Gain. This mode normalizes all the tracks in the album based on the target volume, but will maintain the volume differences between each track as they were in the original album.
Can audacity normalize volume?
In addition, Audacity also has a Loudness Normalization Option in the Effect menu. Loudness Normalization is in essence the same as normalization but allows for more detailed control over the changes.
What is normalization volume?
To normalize audio is to change its overall volume by a fixed amount to reach a target level. It is different from compression that changes volume over time in varying amounts. It does not affect dynamics like compression, and ideally does not change the sound in any way other than purely changing its volume.
