What is an UpMix plugin?
UpMix coverts your stereo audio file into an immersive, multichannel, surround sound audio mix. UpMix can take a normal stereo audio file and convert it into many different multichannel audio formats.
What does UpMix do?
The process of generating additional loudspeaker signals from source material with fewer channels than available speakers is called upmixing. Typically, this means to convert 2-channel recordings into multi-channel surround formats.
What is DTS UpMix?
DTS Neural Surround UpMix enables production engineers to render stereo into surround content. The mix can then be streamed over the Internet or terrestrially broadcast.
What is Dolby Surround Upmixer?
Dolby Surround. This mode uses Dolby Surround Upmixer to extend various sources to natural and realistic multi channels for playback. Use ceiling speakers such as top middle speakers to realize a three-dimensional sound field. Dolby Digital. This mode can be selected when playing sources recorded in Dolby Digital.
