One option is to make sure you get a cable with thick ferrite beads. The ferrite beads help reduce noise on the cable, generally the bigger they are the better. I often find when I have display issues with VGA cables switching to one with bigger ferrite beads resolves the problem.
How do I fix my VGA blurry?
Check the cable connections. If you are using an LCD monitor with a VGA cable, the display may be blurry because the LCD monitor is digital and the VGA cable is analog. If you have a DVI connection you can use at the back of your computer that will stop the blurry effect.
Does sound come out of VGA?
