What is Rate code?
Rate codes are used to define the various prices for each room type over a particular date range or rate season. It is possible to identify multiple rate amounts for a single rate code and a separate price per person over a seven-day period (mid-week and weekend).
What is complimentary rate code?
Complimentary Rate: A Room rate with zero room charge which is offered to special guests, industry leaders, Gov. officials etc. House use Rate: A Room rate with zero room charge which is used for rooms stays for hotel purpose.
How do I set a rate code in opera?
To create new rate codes or edit existing codes, select Configuration > Rate Management > Rate Classifications > Rate Codes. The Rate Codes screen appears. Select the New button or highlight the entry for an existing rate code and select the Edit button. The Rate - New (or - Edit) Edit screen appears.
What is virtual rate codes?
The Bookable online rate detail can be set individually - i.e., dependent of the base rate code - so that you have more pricing flexibility in your online business. This way you can define a virtual rate code which can be booked online, whereas the base rate code is not available online (or the other way round).
