for the same wordsize, higher sampling rate increases the SNR (within a fixed bandwidth) by 6 dB or 1 added bit of resolution for every two octaves of sample rate. and that's without noise-shaping.

Noise bandwidth decrease, the output noise energy reduce and the output SNR increase with the sampling rate increasing. So, we can obtain high SNR by increasing the sampling rate.
