What is the source of multipath fading in wireless channels?
Multipath fading occurs in any environment where there is multipath propagation and there is some movement of elements within the radio communications system. This may include the radio transmitter or receiver position, or in the elements that give rise to the reflections.
What is multipath fading channel?
In a multipath fading environment, the relative motion between the transmitter and receiver may also cause broadening of the power spectrum. Additionally, the wireless channel, or the over-the-air link between a transmitter and a receiver, is subject to interference from other users in the system.
