What is minimum shift keying technique?

The minimum-shift keying (MSK) scheme is used in GSM, a pioneer and a widely-used digital cellular mobile system. MSK can be viewed as either a special case of binary continuous-phase frequency-shift keying (CPFSK) or a special case of OQPSK.

What are the applications of GMSK?

GMSK is used in most MSK applications in order to perfect the transmission of digital data from satellites and radio broadcasting towers to mobile devices as well as from mobile devices to satellites and radio broadcasting towers.

What is the advantage of MSK?

Minimum shift keying, MSK offers advantages in terms of spectral efficiency when compared to other similar modes, and it also enables power amplifiers to operate in saturaton enabling them to provide high levels of efficiency.

What is the use of Shift Keying?

Frequency-shift keying (FSK) is a method of transmitting digital signals using discrete signals. The two binary states -- logic 0 (low) and 1 (high) in a binary frequency-shift key mechanism -- are each represented by an analog waveform.
