How do you match EQ?

In Logic Pro, in the project you want to match to the source audio file, insert Match EQ (typically on Output 1-2). Drag the source audio file to the Reference Learn button. Return to the start of your mix, click the Current Learn button, and play your mix (the current material) from start to finish.

What is curve EQ?

Voxengo CurveEQ is a spline equalizer for professional music and audio production applications. CurveEQ shows the filter response you are designing by means of a spline, that is, a smooth curvy line. This way you can see how the EQ alters the sound.

How does EQ matching work?

Match EQ allows you to analyze and store the average frequency spectrum of an audio file as a template. You can apply this template to another audio signal so that it matches the spectrum of the original file. This is also known as a fingerprint EQ, where one sonic fingerprint is applied to another signal.
