How does FLL work?
In FIRST LEGO League, students engage in hands-on STEM experiences, building confidence, growing their knowledge and developing habits of learning. FIRST LEGO League's three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.
How does a FLL competition work?
Tournaments are the climax of an FLL season. At a tournament, teams deliver their Project presentations, attend Robot Design and Teamwork interviews, and compete in the Robot Game. Regions throughout the world host championship tournaments.
What robot does FLL use?
All these are built around Labview. The robots used are Lego Education units. Until 2021, the platform of choice was the Lego Mindstorm EV3. While the EV3 will still be permitted in FLL competitions, starting in August 2022, the Guided Mission will only be available for SPIKE Prime.
