What is the output of FFT in Python?
Note: As an aside, you may have noticed that fft() returns a maximum frequency of just over 20 thousand Hertz, 22050Hz, to be exact. This value is exactly half of our sampling rate and is called the Nyquist frequency.
What does the output of FFT mean?
These frequencies actually represent the frequencies of the two sine waves which generated the signal. The output of the Fourier transform is nothing more than a frequency domain view of the original time domain signal. What does FFT function return?
The FFT function returns a result equal to the complex, discrete Fourier transform of Array. The result of this function is a single- or double-precision complex array.
