What is FDMA modulation?
FDMA is the most common MA technique for satellite communication systems. Especially, a single channel per carrier (SCPC), in which each carrier bears one voice or data channel, has been used in most operating satellite communication systems because of its simple implementation.
What is FDMA with example?
FDMA allows multiple users to send data through a single communication channel, such as a coaxial cable or microwave beam, by dividing the bandwidth of the channel into separate non-overlapping frequency sub-channels and allocating each sub-channel to a separate user.
How does FDMA work?
In FDMA method, guard bands are used between the adjacent signal spectra to minimize crosstalk between the channels. A specific frequency band is given to one person, and it will received by identifying each of the frequency on the receiving end. It is often used in the first generation of analog mobile phone.
What is FDMA vs TDMA?
FDMA separates users by frequency — each user occupies its own radio channel. TDMA separates users by time — each user occupies the entire radio channel, but at different time slots.
