Deconvolving a 1d Signal Using a Lookup Table
  1. What is a 1d lookup table?
  2. What is deconvolution in signal processing?

What is a 1d lookup table?

The one dimensional Lookup Table block performs a lookup in a user-defined table for values of the dependent variables using a single field as the index (the independent variable). The output values of the block are the corresponding values in the output field columns of the lookup table.

What is deconvolution in signal processing?

Deconvolution is the process of filtering a signal to compensate for an undesired convolution. The goal of deconvolution is to recreate the signal as it existed before the convolution took place. This usually requires the characteristics of the convolution (i.e., the impulse or frequency response) to be known.
