What is Speaker crossfade?

Crossfade creates a smooth transition between songs by fading out the last few seconds of the current song, and fading in the next song in the Queue. The icon will be illuminated when crossfade is enabled. Using the Sonos app for iOS or Android: On the Now Playing screen, tap to access more options.

What are the types of cross fade?

How do you crossfade between songs?

This feature, called crossfading, prevents gaps of silence between songs. In the Music app on your Mac, choose Music > Settings, then click Playback. Select Crossfade Songs. To change the amount of time it takes for the current song to fade out at the end and the new song to fade in, drag the Seconds slider.
