What is an example of covert communication?
Covert Messages
Even when you are not talking, your body is sending messages. To take an extreme example, if you glare at your boss, you won't need to use words to communicate that you are unhappy with your job and don't see yourself as having a future with the company.
What are covert communications?
Covert communication is defined as the exchange of information or data using a covert channel. The term covert channel refers to the illegal transfer of data between components that were unauthorized to communicate. Covert channels can lead to data theft, malicious attacks, and data loss.
Why is covert communication important?
The main purpose of covert channels is to protect privacy or to increase security of critical communication.
What is spread spectrum technology?
Spread Spectrum refers to a system originally developed for military applications, to provide secure communications by spreading the signal over a large frequency band. Figure 1 represents a narrow band signal in the frequency domain. These narrowband signals are easily jammed by any other signal in the same band.
