Can we draw Bode plot for unstable system?

It can be obtained experimentally by providing inputs to the system and measuring the output frequencies (if the system is stable) and it can also be obtained by hand (even if the system is not stable) [1]. The tricky thing about Bode plots is that they will not always tell you if your system is unstable or not.

How do you find the pole of a Bode plot?

Method: You locate where the change in slope starts, then find the midpoint between the beginning and end of this slope, the frequency at the midpoint is the frequency of a pole or a zero. However, I use this method when I have fairly simple plots.

What is a pole Bode plot?

A simple technique exists for obtaining an approximate plot of the magnitude and phase of a transfer function given its poles and zeros. The technique is particularly useful in the case of real poles and zeros. The method was developed by H. Bode, and the resulting diagrams are called Bode plots.
