How are acoustics measured?

Acoustic measurements are made using a sound level meter equipped with a microphone and consist of measuring the parameters for which the sound is responsible. We perform vibration measurements using a meter with a vibration transducer.

How does room size affect acoustics?

Large room, long reverberation time

As a rule of thumb, it is pretty safe to assume that the larger a room is; the longer the reverberation time will be. Long reverberation times are disruptive for dialogue or work, because the sound has nowhere to go – conversations are difficult and concentration is disturbed.
