What is super-resolution algorithm?
Super-resolution (SR) refers to an estimation of high resolution (HR) image/video from one or more low resolution (LR) observations [30] of the same scene, usually employing digital image processing and ML techniques.
How does image super-resolution work?
Super-resolution is based on the idea that a combination of low resolution (noisy) sequence of images of a scene can be used to generate a high resolution image or image sequence. Thus it attempts to reconstruct the original scene image with high resolution given a set of observed images at lower resolution.
How do I reduce the spatial resolution of an image in Matlab?
The spatial resolution is decreased by using the imresize function e.g. 4x4 image is converted to 2x2 image but the canvas size also decreases due to dimensions.
